I have a normal Daewoo TV (model: DTY-21U7S)bought 2006...i have there 3 AV sockets (2 SCART and one for i.e. the 442 cable...). what do i have to do if i would like to record a show or something??because i cannot swith in middle of the show to AV...please help!!do i need a VCR or something like that??does this mean that the TV has only AV in, but not out??
p.s. i tried to play a movie to the TV and that worked perfectly!!

Most TV's do not have an output. If you want to record on the 442, you need to plug the output of something with a tuner into the input on the 442. (A VCR should work, or a cable box.)

Yeah, with any of our products, Recorder 2, OSD, you can only record from a source that has RCA outputs.

nice commercial!:) unluckly they're very hard to find down here in romania...
i bought my442 from denmark...or actually the zolid925...
why are there actually so many names for the same product??

Not sure, i think its due to the fact that many companies bought the products and stamped their name on it. But in the end, its still the same product.
