Neuros recorder with custom battery kit and bulletcam

I'm making videos on my motorcycle in the Netherlands. In my videos you'll see the gauges to prove the disgusting speeding stories aren't fake.

More detailled info on my setup

I've created a battery pack for the Neuros MPEG4 Recorder


My camera is under my helmet with a temporary metal clip


one adjustment I had to make was the 5 volt power connector pin. My connector came loose all the time so theres now a tiny layer around the pin to make a tight fit


my sony bulletcam kit came with all you can think of. Another battery pack so no leads to the bike at all. It's a Sony SuperHAD with 420 screenlines.

I'm looking for ways to optimize the video quality. Is there some kind of firmware or trick to make the Neuros MPEG4 compression less lossy, for example a higher bitrate? I'm already using the highest setting.

Frank: do you still remember which settings you were using for the Google video? Your settings created a 15MB file for 5 minutes video. And that is more or less what we are looking for. For the Dutchmen (or people that can read Dutch): Eenvoudig sessies maken van 1 uur streaming video.
