Pal really should be 25hz, the extra 5 just cause stutter when converted back to 25.
The 20% ish data saved can that please be put towards a higher bitrate on the mp4 encoding.
So, 640x480@25fps :2.5mbps recording or similar?
I just want the highest bitrate possible with the recorder

I am also using this with a bullet cam and battery pack, for paintball and motorcycle. An auto onafter power loss would be very useful.

Lots of views, but no posts, how about anyone else that uses PAL ie: 25hz. posts here to say so... uk users etc.

You might try a NTSC-bulletcam on this, which better fits to 30fps.

(Even if most/all bc's putting out 60hz interlaced caused by design)

We used PAL-bc's with the recorder for almost 2 years, it worked fine, even with the low bitrate.

Edit: As i see on old records, the raw-videos from the recorder are 25fps. Cheesy
