does this thing reliably playback xvid?

I just basically want to use it to play back tv shows I download in xvid format.  if it does that and play as well as they do on a philips dvp dvd player with divx/xvid support, i'm ordering immediately.

We have not finished testing Xvid video files, we'll post more information when we have more data.

in addition..

R2 support divx 6x now(include 3x,4x,5x)

I use "Canopus Procoder 2 Wizard"(a video conveter for PC)

it's easy to create a excellen  .avi(divx 5.x)video file that have nearly DVD quality for neuros R2 on TV.

Video File Source : Some new movies trial website.

Video File format output as follow info...

Profiles : High Definition

Interlace mode : Progressive

Video Quality : Max(slow)

Resolution : 720x480(24fps)

Video format : divx 5.x

Video bitrate : about 2600kbps(MAX 8000kbps)

Audeo format : MP3

Audio bitrate : 128kbps

Audio sample rate : 48kbps

very very sweet,if someone have interesting about video convter things.my parameters maybe give u a little help .
