If any1 can help me...few days ago i tried to charge my Neuros (N2 HD20GB) with diff charger (500mA 9-12V) and after that when i tried to charge it with normal charger that comes with neuros it jsut won't charge again...the blinkin led won't blink at all...brain+battery works fine (but it's lausy 128MB and i barely use it cause of USB 1.1) ...what it means when charge led ain't blinkin anymore? dead battery or fried electronics? when i plug the HD backpack w/o  brain to PC via USB it can work for awhile then it dies (charge led ain't blinkin either)...i tried other chargers but same happens...

is the battery dead? if it is i would order a new one...if it's not, can the hd backpack be sent to for repairs? or should i download scheme of it n give it to some repair shop here? (i am from Europe, and i will be for 9 dayn in NYC soon, so i was wandering what to do)

thanx...

Try ebay.COM
Item number: 5820731366
Replacement Battery for Neuros HD MP3 player 4019100

Yours for just USD$9 (plus $11 shipping!!)

I tried to get them to send one to me in UK but they flat refused!

You might be able to get one sent to you in NYC, or to a friend there.

you could alawys pick me up a couple too, or several and put them on ebay for us Europeans, etc.  Maybe if you buy more than one you'll pay less on shipping.

PS apparently the power socket can be dodgy too.

can any1 tell me if the charge LED ain't blinkin' anymore is that a signal the battery is dead or somethin' got broken (input jack or some capacitor got leaked or whatever)?

i'll bring first the HD backpack to local el. service store just to check the battery voltage and input jack...

I'm interestedin a response to this last question as well.  I actually came here today to get a new battery because mine didn't seem to be holding a charge as long as it used to. Normal enough, I figured. But just this afternoon, mine started freaking out like Slo's. The battery icon blinks when plugged in and doesn't seem to take a charge at all.  When I plug just the HD in, there's a very faint indicator light flash.  The player will now shut down even if plugged in to the wall.  Any one know what's going on? This didn't happen to me until after I ordered a new battery. How strange. I think we just want to make sure this is "normal" dead battery behavior.
