I haven't read anything set in stone about 442v2 having USB Host capability, but then it's no mystery on these boards that info is scattered all over the place.

I, for one, hope we get it, but if not, this may be a possible work-around:

The GP2X is like a Linux-based PSP.  If this can be done with the GP2X, it should be possible with a 442.

But this model of the 442 doesn't have the hardware for a USB host. Just because of the fact that it doesnt have a USB port. (the ports like the one on your computer.)

I want to get one 440 that have the USB host function, because I want to copy some audio files from my usb stick.

so, why not install one OTG device?

I'm pretty sure that's the point.
