Hi all.
Love the forum.
I'm a new owner of a 442.  Well, not yet.  I ordered it last night and its "on the way".  I'm excited about it though.

Anyhow...my question....I travel a ton and really need a car power adapter and while I don't mind paying Neuros $14.95 for theirs I'd rather not pay at all if I don't have to.  I just spent $20 on a nice universal adapter 2 weeks ago where I can change polarity from + to - and range in voltage from 1-12V with a 1000mAh power supply.

So, with that being said does anyone know what settings I'll need on my universal adapter to make my 442 charge properly without frying it?

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

5 volts + at center
The unit will draw up to 1 amp (1000ma) when recording.

This will keep the battery charged.
