I agree and was going to suggest you don't use microdrives since I've heard they can be fragile. I was using solid state compact flash, though, so my corrupt(zero-byte) files are not caused by a bad card. Some investigative work by a friend last night showed that my CF card had 3 copies of the FAT on it when there should only be 2. He's looking at it again tonight. Stay tuned.

Hope you can recover the files. There are a few tools to do that out there, but I don't know any free ones. You will have to reformat your card before you record again though.
