Does anybody know when they will come out with an update to allow recordings longer than 2 hours at a time?  I don't have to many movies that pass the 2 hour mark, but every once in awhile it would be worth having a recording of more than 2 hours.

I want an update!

Well, considering there have never been any firmware updates for either Neuros Recorder, I'm losing hope that there ever will be. It certainly could still happen, but, in general, I wouldn't buy things based on future promises - I have an N1 because the current firmware is acceptable to me.

(The one update listed for the N1 is actually just version 1.0, because some units with limited beta software were apparently sold briefly.)

MP4 video format encode need a index file for FF&RW; when u play it.

Long time recording that meaning we need a more SDRAM space to put it.

But the SDRAM space inside R2 was fixed...

2HR limited to avoid SDRAM overflow.
