We just added a new firmware upgrade on our site in the support/upgrade section. The upgrade is very simple. Here is the link: http://www.neurostechnology.com/support/support_updates.asp

The new firmware will add support for 4GB and 8GB Seagate Microdrives. The new interface will also support 6 languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Chinese.

Note that we have 2 versions of teh Firmware, 1 for the US version witha NTSC default setting and one for the european version with a PAL default setting.

Make sure you follow the instructions and do not hesitate to call 866 5 NEUROS or email us at support@neurostechnology.com if you have any questions. We will be happy to walk you through the steps if need be.

Thanks so much for the update.

Is the problem fixed with auto record when it detects a video source?

Or is there a list of fixes/enhancements somewhere?

Is the N1 still supported/"eligible" for updates?

I read the Release Notes. However, I would also like to see a listing of fixes/enhancements (and warnings about known/possible bugs) posted also, Thanks.

Did you try the NTSC version - I can probably live with it defaulting to  NTSC, assuming that is the only difference.  I really want to see if my 2gb pro duo is now supported.

Refresh my memory here, is it a brand new card? I assume you have tried to format the card with the PSP already right?

It is a fairly new 2gb Sony High speed ms duo card.  It works with no problems in my card reader, PSP & Sony digital camera.  I have tried formatting on PC & in PSP, but card is still not recognised.  My 1gb sandisk gaming  pro duo card works without issue.

I have also just purchased a 1gb high speed sony card.  I will test this & post result soon.

ok 1gb card seems ok.

So Summary:

1GB Kingston High Speed compact Flash - ok
1GB sandisk gaming card memory stick pro duo - ok
1GB sony High speed memory stick pro duo (MSX-M1GN) - ok
2GB Sony High speed memory stick pro duo (MSX-M2GN) - not recognised by recorder-II, ok in PSP,cardreader, digital camera.
