I notice that the cables provided with the Neuros 2 are not exactly the best quality from a shielding/build perspective. Since it is all analog anyways, do you think that upgrading the cables would help in

a) better MPEG encoding for picture
b) less hum on the recorder

Also - are the cables supplied just plain old RCA-minijack cables that are used for camcorders? I found this on buy.com and was wondering if these would be compatiable with the Neuros 2 and an improvement.

INSTANT UPGRADE.

 I picked some Monster Video Camcorder Cables on Ebay for $5.00 and WOW!

The picture quality is better and so is the audio - highly recommended!
