i'm really thinking about buying a Neuros Recorder2 for my outdoor extreme sports..
but suddenly i got doubting..
Where do i hook up the power [:I]
an extension cord of 12000 feet (Skydiver) won't work..
So i came to think about hooking up some batteries (or buying a fixed batterypack),
not too costly though..spending enough on the neuros and the bulletcam..(student Tongue )

anyway..
what type of batterypack would i need (how many volts/amps), will simple AA batteries suffice and how long would it typically last??

Any typical battery eliminator with 5V or 5.2V output will do.
The center tip has to be +
Depending upon which size of eliminator you select will determine the
length of "on" time for the NR2.

thanks for the fast reply!

But the link you provided...it feels live an ac/dc converter to me..(especially looking at the price) with multiple tips..
is this a battery pack (with 5v output) or just a charger unit?

another option I thought of:
4AA (rechargeable) batteries provide 4.8V..
Then i would take high 2000 mA batteries...
would that be sufficient?

The unit I linked to is a battery that charges, has several tips,
and when you need it, disconnect the ac adaptor, plug it into the
NR2 and away you go. Portable battery.

The 4 AA will not work as the NR2 needs 5 volts or more. As batteries
are used, their output voltage decreases under load.

whoa...that's cheap...I looked into carryable batterypacks..but all were over 70€..

In that case...ordering one right now [8D]

anyone know what current the Neuros requires?  Those packs look good but wonder how many minutes they would run a Neuros for?

Not sure what current it requires, but I've been able to get 12 hours+ recording time using the Tekken MyPower All (MP3300) on one charge.  Their specs say it has 40Wh output.
