Dear all,
I lost my power adapter on a business trip,
now I am strapped with a Neuros 442 without power.
It's very inconvenient for me to buy a replacement as I
am not in the US, is there an alternative that anyone can recommend?
Thanks.

Rgds,

The 442 power adapter is 5 volts DC at upto 2.5 Amps.
Maybe you can find a universal adapter that will do that with the connector needed for the 442.
My creative Zen ac adapter has the same plug and provides 5 volts DC but only at 1.5 amps. In a pinch I have used it to power my 442 for playing and recording with no problems.  Im not sure that it can actually charge the 442 battery.

I thought it was in the WIKI, but apparently it is no longer there.

The 442 uses the same power supply as the PSP.  You should be able to find a PSP power supply someplace.

Same as PSP? That's a good tip, including the plug size?

I have the iGo system, and can confirm the PSP plug works fine on the 442. I can also tell you the Tekkeon PowerRunner with the appropriate plug and amperage works fine.
