Maybe I'm missing something in the forums or the FAQ, but my 80 gig N2 is only showing 74.4 gigs of total space. It says in the settings that ~78,000 mb are available. It is a slight problem when trying to fit 77.7 gigs of music on there with only 74.4 available.

when they say 80GB of storage, companies usually have this warning "1GB = 1 billion bytes; actual formatted capacity less."  also, if the drive has been formated then that also lowers the capacity of the drive.
