Just got the Recorder 2 and I was hoping to record a few DVD's to Mini SD cards to play in the Motorola Q. No luck so far...got fine audio but no video at all. It's being recorded since the card plays from the Recorder 2 to the TV. Settings are 320x240, normal. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help.

Well, apparently the Q isn't compatible with the audio codec used by the Neuros - so obviously you will have to transcode the files. My research indicates that the Q prefers AMR audio (which is associated with the traditional 3GP cell phone format), but I don't have a Q so it's hard for me to test.

Oh oops, I wasn't exactly sure what programs were supported by the Q. That's a good idea too then.

Thanks for the help, but so far still no video on the Q. 320X240, 15FPS, Normal, FW:2.00.0012. With the card installed in the Q I get perfect audio but absolutely no video. With the same card in the PC I'm able the open the file in iTunes and it transfers and plays fine on the iPod (audio and video). Actually 30FPS looks even better on the iPod.

I tried my card in both a demo and a new Q, at a Verizon store today with the same results as mine...audio was fine but no video appears. The card plays both audio and video on the TV when played in the Recorder 2.

Problem solved by Neuros support. Upgraded from firmware 2.00.0012 to beta firmware 2.0.19. Video and audio both play fine on the Motorola Q now!
