Hello, new to the forums here.

I heard of the Neuros Recorder 2 shortly after getting my 5G iPod but never bought the R2 due to the lack of hard-drive.

I see in some of the posts here that, at least at one point, there was a planned release of a R2 with an internal hdd.  There was a tentative release date set for May.  Has its release been cancelled or merely delayed?

If its been delayed, is there a new release date?

If its been cancelled, does anyone know of a small, portable PVR that would compete with the R2's performance/price but would include an hdd?  I realize that the hdd itself would add to the cost.  I'm looking to spend less than $250 for a device that had at least a 10gb hdd.

The 442 *IS* cool but after reading the specs I'm not psyched on the lack of control over recording formats/resolutions/bitrates etc.  I like that the R2 gives you all those options.

Maybe I don't know enough about it, does it allow more control than the spec sheet would lead me to believe?

But again, does anyone know if there's been a new release date mentioned for the R2 w/ HDD?
