Hey all,
The latest in my long list of problems with my neuros.
About a month ago, the headphone jack came completely loose and was wandering around inside my neuros. As it was past warranty, I decided to fix it myself rather than pay to ship it back (again, woulda been the fifth time!) I opened it up, and resoldered it in place. Now the jack only works out of one ear. It does play out of both ears if I pull the headphone plug out slightly and hold it to one side. Does this mean the jack itself is bad? If so, is this a generic enough headphone plug as to be replaced easily? I read on another forum that people have adressed similar problems on other devices by applying a drop of lubricating oil to the inside of the jack. Could this help? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
