Note that this scene was specifically chosen for a combination of rapid movement plus mute flat background/sky colours, two things that really show up MPEG compression.

PS: I tracked down the interference that I mention [so ought to redo these video clips soon!] It is a side effect of the S-video connection requiring the composite lead to be connected (via the multi-plug), this lead acting as an antenna for interference. I think what the OSD needed is a little "link" inside so people only using S-video could "disconnect" the composite input entirely.
