I just installed this car mount in my Blazer and I couldn't be happier. It holds the Neuros securely and at any angle. MyFi’s never really been a problem for me, but this setup has the Neuros sitting inches away from the radio which only helps MyFi. Just thought I’d share and here’s the link from where I bought mine. I don’t know if you’ll find it cheaper but I looked around quite a bit and this is pretty good. It's model CM625

| How well can it clear the passenger seat? I'm looking for a good carmount but since I'm the passenger sometimes on roadtrips and I use the space to stretch out I don't want to cramp that side. My wife doesn't complain about car rides, but I sure do :) |

| When I get a chance, I'll take a picture of it and email it to you. It really stays out of the way and allows me access to both cup holders, heater controls, radio, etc. I guess if I had to find one thing bad to say it's that you can't slide the seat all the way forward. Since I never do that, it's not an issue for me. |

Digging this one up again... Just wanted to see how things were going now that you're a couple months down the road with the car mount.
Also, this mount requires drilling to attach it to the car? Could you provide a picture or two?

I have just purchased the model that mounts onto your heater. It should be the same size (Universal PDA). I am just terribly afraid that the heat may cause damage to the neuros. However, I have reassured myself that it will be fine if I close that duct (considering the harddrive in my computer can run at 'too-hot-to-touch' temperatures).
I will let you know how it goes when my car gets back from the shop. (new exhaust system, new brakes, new suspension, new tires/rims, and full tune up. hehe)

| In a similar topic I recently posted talking about Panavise PDA and cell mounts...you might check them out: they have one that fits in your cup holder: pretty ideal. |

I don't have a site to post the pictures to, but I'll be happy to email them to you. You do not have to drill anything. You loosen the left front mounting nut of your passenger seat, slide the gooseneck's lower bracket under the loosened nut, and retighten. Then you just bend the gooseneck by hand to your preferred viewing position and you're done. Oh, and to answer your first question, I love this thing! |

Please do e-mail some pictures. Mail to *na at the dot net of smeat*. With the mount being what it is, do you get any interference in the normal seating position of your passengers? (aside from not being able to pull the seat forward 100%).
Thanks. n. |

| No, this thing works perfectly. Passengers don't mind it one bit. I'll email you the pix sometime in the next couple of days. |

Ok! I got my car mount today. It is the universal pda holder that fits onto the heater duct. I believe it is CM628. I installed it into my car (it took about 2 minutes to get it clipped in correctly). From there, you lay the neuros in it and squeeze the outer pads and it holds fine. I can easily glance at it while driving (98 Jetta 2.0L). The only problem I see is that if you do not squeeze it in very well it can and WILL fall out while driving (happened to me, I tried to catch it and almost hit a bush). Otherwise, it works fine and allows for you to easily change songs / press custom set buttons. Very fine product :-) Also, holsterguy has extremely fast shipping. I ordered it and recieved it in 2 days, I am guessing he shipped it the same day I ordered it!
