| No, I named it "Garbage". Does it need to called "Firmware"? I'll try that now. |

I doubt he would put it online without testing! That's what he meant. He won't release the changes before he saw the code running with his own eyes ...

Hey, when are you going to release the 2.28 Garbage firmware? I'd love to be the first to try it out, please update your site so we can have it loaded into our players.
It jsut seems to me that since the two new toys came out, no one cares about the audio player anymore. :(

| Yeah, Ive been waiting to switch back to garbage branch because I wanted the 2.28 based one. Didn't he say he had it all ready and just needed to test it about 2 months ago? |

Does anyone know who or where Garbage is? Maybe he cant work on this right now...maybe he has gotten caught up in life...this stuff happens.

That's sad.
Hope he gets better. Maybe someone with more programming experience than I could merge the two branches in a desperate attempt to keep it alive?
I also have a quick question. I really like GarBage's firmware minus one little thing. I don't like how the backlight switches off while charging. Is there a way to keep it on all the time? I use the brick in the car and it is nice to have the backlight on at night. If there isn't a way, what would be the difficulty level of modifying the firmware?
