Hello,
I think the Auto Record feature is a pretty clever way to integrate the Neuros Recorder 1 with an existing VCR - but I have discovered an issue with it.
If I record programs that have an even slightly weak signal (yep, I don't even have basic cable ), the Auto Record stops and starts many times, as if it keeps thinking there is no signal at all. It happens upwards of 9 times for a single half-hour program.
If I play back the corresponding VHS tape from the VCR, there are no "total dropouts," nor anything even close. The signal is more than watchable, just a little staticky. It seems like the Recorder should be able to do a better job detecting a signal than this. Maybe it needs a lower threshold for the minimum strength that qualifies as a "signal"? Or maybe it could just wait a little longer before shutting off, if it detects what it thinks is a lack of signal?
Thanks! |
