I am currently using this firmware and have not had any troubles with it.  its works great and all my pink floyd albums sound so much better now. [Smiley]

when they say 80GB of storage, companies usually have this warning "1GB = 1 billion bytes; actual formatted capacity less."  also, if the drive has been formated then that also lowers the capacity of the drive.

yes, NSM doesnt send the songs back to the computer when it deletes them, it just deletes the songs from the neuros.

yes, it does need updating, but the person that set it up just hasnt said anything on the forums for a long while and hasnt updated that site for a while either.  i wonder what ever happened to him anyways...

mab, neurosdbm still doesnt support it but if you use linux or want to use something other than NSM u might want to try sorune.
