1  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - I need help! / Re: Does not work with scart connections provided by Neuros on: October 28, 2006, 04:42:18 PM
You mean that you have no RCA output on your SKy receiver? I am not the best to help out  on this as I have never used a Sky receiver, but is there a possibility to connect you receiver to your DVD player or a VCR and have the recorder connected to the latter?
2  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - I need help! / Re: Motorola razor v3m verizon on: October 28, 2006, 04:32:42 PM
Try the samples we have on this page: http://www.neurostechnology.com/r2land/smartphones.asp
I know that the 3GP format with QCIF resolution will work with the Razr V3i, but we have not tested it on the V3m.
3  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - I need help! / Re: Video problems on Motorola Q on: October 28, 2006, 04:15:49 PM
You will need to get the AAC plugin for TCPMP. The other option would be to use the 3GP format, just be aware that it is a lower quality than MP4 with AAC audio.
4  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - I need help! / Re: Neuros Mpeg Recorder II won't pass through signal if powered off. on: September 20, 2006, 03:27:27 PM
Yes, the Neuros OSD has a pass through mode. A lot of the requests we could not implement on the RII have been implemented on the Neuros OSD. Your feedback matters Wink

Check out the last 2 posts in this thread:

You can use squared5's mpeg streamclip. it is supposed to do a great job if you want to trimm files or piece files together.
6  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - Feedback & Discussion / Re: R2 autorecord finally fixed !! on: September 01, 2006, 06:08:55 PM
There are a few ways to use the auto record function, but you are correct, the unit needs to be ON for it to work.

As Dongle mentioned, it will be very useful in security devices.

DVR users (like TiVo) should also find this option very useful as you can now program your DVR for playback or recording (s)  and have a recording done simultaneously on the Recorder 2.

If you have some feedback on how to use this feature, you can post something or the forum, or create a section on our Wiki.

Thanks-

8  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - Feedback & Discussion / Re: Auto record still not fixed 17.7.06.... on: August 25, 2006, 05:14:08 PM
We are testing a new beta firmware that should give you what you want soon guys Wink.
9  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - Feedback & Discussion / Re: 4GB CF Card on: August 24, 2006, 05:37:42 PM
Transcent 8GB CF cards x120 work fine based on this post: http://forums.neurostechnology.com/smf/index.php?topic=7375.0

I don't know if that will be true for brands for sure though. If anybody has used CF cards of different brands, size and speed, please post something here and let us know what worked for you.
10  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - I need help! / Re: PSP 2.8 on: August 22, 2006, 01:28:16 PM
Upgrade the Neuros Recorder firmware to 2.00.019 and it should work fine, here is the link:

The THM files won;t show up in the Video folder. For video files in the same folder, make sure they have the .mp4 extension.
12  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - I need help! / Re: PSP 2.8 on: August 16, 2006, 05:54:30 PM
If you have the 2.8 firmware installed on your PSP, you will also be able to playback files recorded with the Fine and Superfine settings for the QVGA 30 fps resolution. Since the files are currently saved in the iPod/PDA folder, you will have to transfer them to the 101MNV01 folder. (transfer the THM files too to make sure you have the Thumbnails).
Let us know how that works. We will most likely come up with a firmware upgrade later to make sure you don't need to move files around for playback on the PSP.

13  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - Feedback & Discussion / Re: PSP firmware 2.8 works w/r2 recordings on: August 16, 2006, 04:54:46 PM
Even better, when you install firmware 2.8 on your PSP, you will be able to playback files recorded with the fine and superfine settings (1 and 1.5 Mb/s respectively). We have some work to do on the firmware, but for now, you can transfer files saved in the iPod/PDA folder (all recordings made with a QVGA 30fps Resolution, Fine and Superfine settings) in the 101MNV01. They will show up and your PSP and should play beautifully.

14  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - I need help! / Re: Where should files be for PSP to find? on: August 02, 2006, 05:32:05 PM
There are 2 things you have to be aware of:
1. The PSP will playback files that have been recorded with the QVGA or WQVGA resolution on the Economy or Normal Settings only. (Fine and Suerpfine will not work, it is a hardware limitation on the PSP side).
2. If you don't have the last PSP firmware (2.Cool, the files have to be in a specific folder with a specific file structure. Just format your card with your PSP, set the recording resolution to QVGA Normal and you should see the files on your PSP right away. If you install the new firmware (2.Cool file names and folder structures are apprently no longer an issue.

15  Neuros MPEG-4 Recorder / Neuros MPEG4 Recorder - I need help! / Re: recorder 2 plus on: August 01, 2006, 06:24:33 PM
Aside for the multicard slot that accepts SD (miniSD, microSD) and MMC cards directly, there is no difference between the units. You can actually purchase a SD/MMC card adaptor for the Recorder 2 here:
http://www.neurostechnology.com/store/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=DigitalInnovationsCatalog&category;%5Fname=Neuros+Gear&product;%5Fid=4060500
for the recorder 2 to record on SD cards.
