If you have tried a soft reset and it still does not work, then go ahead and back up your data and format the 442 using the files management section.  Please contact support@neurosaudio.com, if you have further questions.

Do you have any video files on card created by the camera when you transfer directly from the SD card to the 442?

The freezing issue should be fixed with the newest firmware update (2.0.0). Please download the update from this site and install it. If you have any more problems please contact Support@neurostechnology.com.

Sometimes, I have been able to use itunes to reconvert the files back into MP3, just right click the file and see if you can reconvert the file.

Back up all yuor data and reformat the 442.  Try adding the same files and see if you still have the same issues.  Sometimes a good format will do the trick.

Connect your microdrive to a card reader connected to your PC, once the CF card cards shows up as a removable drive, go ahead and right click the drive and select format.

Hello,

Once you have the movie saved to your desktop, then you can then adjust the tags.  About changing the default save location, at the present time we are working on a newer version of firmware, once we have more information we'll post it on our website.

What file type were you trying to save to?  WQVGA, TV VGA, QVGA ?

We do not recommend using the recorder 2 in a moving vehicle, this will void your warranty.
