Better things to do with my time.

Hi,

After trying to use the OSD, I'm ready to return.

Didn't read my 2gb SD card, but read it when I placed it into a USB converter and plugged into USB port on OSD.

Tried watching 4 video files (various types - xvid, avi, mgeg) - all failed.  Some were out of sync, all stopped dead after several minutes,  all died/froze or rebooted when trying to fast forward.

Not worth the effort or even the $100.  Time to also return the 442 and buy an Archos.

Like the rest of you, I've been waiting patiently for the upgrade, which we may not see for years.

I'm not that much of a techie, but is there any advantage to the current 442 over the Archos 500 for example?

What can the 442 do that the Archos can't and visa versa?

The rechargeable battery is great in the 442, what about the Archos.

Can I transfer video files from my PC to the Archos?  75% of the video files I transfer to the 442 won't work.

Hi,

Since you are unwilling to provide any type of timetable, can you provide or provide a link to useful information on returning the unit.  What needs to be returned and where and with what info? 

I'm sure most owners are no longer using or have the original earbuds.  hopefully this will not cause a problem.

I can't believe that Neuros would require the original earbuds for the upgrade.

Can Neuros support help us out here?

I assume that missing original earphones will not disqualify me from the gamma program upgrade.
