the version 2.00.0012 not support SAMSUNG cellphone.(audio bitrate too high)

the problem have been fixed on v2.00.0017 or later.

but,the v2.00.0017 still not release now.(It will release soon)

follow was a samsung cellphone list we test and working good(FW:v2.00.0017)

SAMSUNG SGH-P858 resolution 320X240
SAMSUNG SGH-D608 resolution 320X240
SAMSUNG SGH-E778 resolution 176X120(144-PAL)
SAMSUNG SGH-X808 resolution 176X120(144-PAL)
SAMSUNG SGH-Z308 resolution 176X120(144-PAL)

P.S:WE never test SAMSUNG T809.but we believe it will working good on new firmware v2.00.0017.

So what are you saying? If I record with a certain set-up I will get DVD quality?

Will the card work?

brian@weir.org

nah,we have a plan to increas the R2 640x480 REC quality.(2048kbps up to 3328kbps)
the first,we got sure the original card can sustain the extra loading of data write in.

the second, some technique problem need to face and solve.

R2 is hot,support ...

Your TV at home,
Your PC/Note book with quicktime player,
SONY PSP,
APPLE iPOD video
New Sony Ericsson,MOTOROLA,NOKIA,SAMSUNG MP4 Mobile phone(Color screen/removable storage card)
Many many kinds PDA&Smart; phone(HP/Dopod) with TCPMP plug in.

a terrible sell point on this device, the application include several huge companies's 3C popular product around worldwide.

the mobile phone with big screen and removable storage will more popular in the future.

i do a test recently about muti-storage crad R/W speed.

one part of test was "SanDisk 1GB plain CF card"

a 16:9 DVD source in(very clear signal)...

let R2 run a 640x480-30fps 3328 kbps encode and decode 30 min.

the test "over the original video bitrate design"...max 2048kbps.[:0]

30min&800Mega mp4 video file size on the SanDisk 1GB plain CF card.

the 30min-800Mega video file playback on TV through R2.

oh my god.R2 become a DVD quality recorder.[Cheesy]

take easy.it's just a test.hehe.

cool stuff,never test this myself.

Sandisk take some our recorder back  for test recently.(they are very interesting on this mini box)

ur question remind me to ask them the sandisk new card compatible on R2.

for this case(SECAM PAL)...

source signal type  auto detect(trigger).NTSC 176X120 or PAL 176X144

that's the only one different i can nose out than early version.

3 : When i use 320x240 at 30 i/s, the file recorded appears in the "ipod" folder, so i can't read it in the PSP. So i can only use the 368x208 mode if i want to read the file in my PSP : that's another NEW problem I saw.

Laurent

the resolution 320x240-30fps & 368x208-30fps
quality:economic(384kbps)& normal(768kbps)for SONP PSP only.
PSP support MAX 768kbps only!!

the resolution 320x240-30fps
quality:fine(1024kbps)&super; fine(1536kbps) for ipod video

i saw the point u say that was the " distorted in transparence of the Neuros mpeg4 before record".

neuros R2 bypass all the AV in(video&audio; signal)before recording.when we into record page(preview or full screen).

the problem or unknown interfere must be happen between the AV source and Neuros R2 AV in.
very very important information to us.

I don't you have any volume controls on the devices I am recording from except the TV output (it's a cable decoder from NOOS company). I have 2 output. I can change the volume of TV output, not the volume of the other output (for videotape recorder like Neuros mpeg4). I didn't have this problem before this new version. The problem is that there is a too big difference between my decoder output and my Neuros Mpeg4 input which doesn't accepet this calibrated level (too high for Neuro Mpeg4).

Can you do something for the PAL users ?

Laurent

Laurent

1.the file u recorded for PSP have same problem on ur TV?
2.what version firmware on ur PSP device?
3.make sure 320x240-30fps rec?
4.France use SECAM TV system (another type of PAL system)right?

I saw ur post yesterday, and try to simulate the PAL system record.(ur website show xxx.fr)

my stuff as follow...

The lord of the ring III DVD(a PAL format DVD bought in Germany)
NTSC/PAL(auto detect)DVD player(entire zone).
PAL TV(bought in europe).
a adjustment power supply(simulate 220v 50hz)

Two SONY PSP device
PSP V2.7
PSP V2.0

No distortion problems(i'm try both ear phone&PSP; speaker)
