I am recording content from my PC so i have the PC's S-VIDEO port connected to the recorder's AV IN and the TV connected to the recorder AV OUT. I can see the neuros menu on the TV but when i select the option to record i am recording a blank screen and not what is being displayed on my PC screen. Any ideas? I am running XP on a Dell XPS with a geforce graphics card 7800 GTX. Do i need to enable the S-VIDEO port on my PC or something?

Seems to be a problem with my graphics card not detecting the TV. Still haven't fixed it though if any one has any thoughts....

What is the analog signal output by the card?

I am using the s-video output port from the graphics card.  I have a converter that takes s-video as input and outputs rca. this allows me to connect either to the AV IN on the recorder.

Try connecting the S-video output directly to the TV to make sure the output is working.  Sometimes you do have to enable the output.  You should be albe to do this by right clicking on the desktop to get the Display Properties, clicking on the Settings tab, click on the Advanced button, and search among the tabs for an option to redirect the video output.  You might also have a function key on you keyboard to switch between or to enable alternate outputs.  The key symbol would have a rectangle with vertical bars on the sides or with rabbit ears on top.
