Firmware Version 2.0.22

This version of firmware adds additional functionality to the Auto Record feature.
As long as the unit is set to Auto Record and is turned on, it will start recording when it detects an A/V signal and stop recording when it doesn't.
It will repeat this process every time as long as the unit is on and there is room on your storage card.

Upgrade instructions:

1. Check out which version of firmware you currently have on the Recorder
2. Go to the Setup Menu, click on the Enter Button on the remote and scroll down to the second page of the menu. If you already have version v2.0.22 on your unit, you do not need to upgrade the Recorder.
3. You should format the flash card you will use to upgrade the Recorder 2.
a. If you use a memory stick, format the card with the PSP.
b. If you use a CF card, format the card with the Recorder 2. Go to the Setup Menu, scroll down to Format Disk, click enter and when prompted if you want to format, highlight Yes and click on the Enter button on the remote.
4. Download the firmware file "VCR4800.bin". Cut and Paste the VCR4800.BIN file on your freshly formatted card (you will need a card reader if you don’t have a flash card slot on your PC).
5. Insert the card in the appropriate card slot of the Recorder 2.
6. You Recorder will have to be connected to your TV and powered on.
7. Use the Arrow on the remote to navigate the Menu on the top of your TV screen and highlight the Setup Menu. Click on the Enter button to enter this menu.
8. Highlight the Upgrade option using the remote. This is the last option at the bottom right of your screen and click on the Enter button.
9. When Prompted if you want to upgrade select Yes and click on the Enter button.
10. The upgrade will take one minute and the unit will shut itself off.
11. Power the unit on and check the firmware version as described in 1. You should now see v02.0.22

Firmware Version 2.0.12

This version of firmware has many improvements over previous versions:
1. Fixed the issue that rendered recorded files unplayable on PSP firmware version 2.7
2. Fixed the issue of low volume playback of recorded video on PSP. The audio is now 30% louder.
3. Added recording options for smart phone , mobilephone and PDA . The new options are 176x120-15fps ; 320x240-15fps . The application of TCPMP with AAC plug-in is highly recommended to play the videos on smart phones and PDAs . The video format is .MP4.The video quality depends on the computing power of your smartphone and mobile phone.
4. Added the recording options for iPOD : 320x240 Fine(1024kbps) & Superfine (1536kbps) for superior video playback.

What's New:

1) Neutris game support with the following button definitions.
UP rotate block.
DOWN immediate drop.
LEFT move block left.
RIGHT move block right.
PLAY pause/unpause game.
REWIND exit game.

2) File browser support from the main menu.
Hold SELECT on directory will bring up XIM to delete directory.
Hit PLAY button on selected directory will play files under that directory
if any, sub-directories will be ignored.

Neuros Synchronization Manager v1.54

To manually install Neuros Synchronization Manager, download the setup file NSM_154.msi,
remembering where you placed the file. Then locate the file on your PC and run the setup program
to install the application.

Enhancements & Fixes Included

1) XIM Support Fix.
XIM gets lost after sync when special characters are part of the tags and NSM reports
index out of boundary error.

Neuros Digital Audio Computer FW version 1.45

Neuros Firmware v1.45

Version 1.45 contains the following updates to the Neuros firmware:
1. Supports WMA playback, without DRM;
2. Supports Ogg Vorbis playback;
3. Supports WAV playback and record, WAV recording has three sample rate options: 8kHz, 44.1kHz and 48kHz;
4. Increased 2.0 lowbattery threshold from 3.4V to 3.5V.
5. Changed "bkpk.txt" to "bkpk.sn" to work with both NSM1.35 and NSM1.38.
6. Fixed random false USB detection bug.
7. Fixed DRMed WMA lockup due to a buffer boundary overflow. DRM is not supported yet.
8. Disabled HiSi gain control GUI;

Windows 98 Drivers for Neuros DAC

Neuros USB drivers are included in all operating systems other than
Windows 98 and are also included on the Neuros installation CD. However, if the drivers
are not available to you they can be downloaded here.
