How can I use my Neuros on 2 PCs?
With Neuros’ new Neuros Sync Manager v 1.25+ software, now you can easily use your device on 2 PCs! Want to transfer files back and forth between your home and work PC? No problem. Here’s how:
- Make sure NSM v 1.25 (or higher) is installed on both PCs. In each case, in NSM, go to Tools, Options, Synchronization and select of the following option: “Process device tracks not found in NSM”.
- Add files to Neuros with the home PC, using NSM as usual.
- Plug in Neuros to work PC.
- Hit “sync” (Note: NSM will transfer any tracks scheduled to sync from work PC onto device). Dialog box will appear stating “Remove orphan tracks (The following tracks were found on Neuros but are not in NSM)”. Select the tracks that you wish to reconcile and add into NSM on the work PC.
- Right click and choose “Add to NSM” (You may also select “Remove from Neuros”, or “Copy Locally”, which copies tracks to both NSM and PC hard drive).
- Hit OK to initiate desired commands or select Cancel to do nothing.
- (Note: If new tracks are added to Neuros from your work PC that you wish to add to your home PC, repeat above steps at home)
